  10. I'm trying to get SS to recognize my Mediavision Reno (El-Cheapo)
  11. SCSI-2 CD ROM drive.  My system is an A3000, WarpEngine3040 (all 
  12. drives are on the WarpEngine's scsi bus, using the 
  13. warpdrive.device), PicassoII/Cybergraphics, and 16/2 meg of 
  14. fast/chip RAM.

  16. My Amiga recognizes and talks to the CD drive just fine.  But I
  17. can't get Shapeshifter to even acknowledge that any drives exist
  18. using Mac utilities like SCSIprobe, etc.

  20. The Amiga sees the drive, so I think everything is OK on the
  21. hardware side.

  23. On the Shapeshifter settings side of things, I have changed 
  24. the driver from scsi.device to warpdrive.device, checked the 
  25. LUN 6 box (the CD is on address 6), typed in 6 as the SS LUN,
  26. and tried most (if not all) combinations of Apple CD300 Emulation,
  27. Apple HD Emulation, and direct transfers.

  29. I believe I also have all of the Mac SW (incuding the PD NEC
  30. driver) I should ever need.

  32. But SS never sees the CD drive, and when I scan the bus with a
  33. utility like SCSIprobe or several others, it reports NOTHING
  34. for addresses 0-6 on the SCSI bus.  I figure even if the 
  35. Reno drive isn't compatible, SCSIprobe should at least see
  36. SOMETHING in slot 6...

  38. Anyway, I've tried my best, looked at all the FAQs, and come up
  39. empty.  Any ideas?

  41. Also, if anyone has a similar setup that works, could you please 
  42. email me your Shapeshifter Prefs file?
